Dog & Puppy Training

Training your dog or puppy is a vital part of pet ownership. Dogs and puppies do not know what behaviors are allowed or not allowed without the proper training. It is far easier to start off on the right path and avoid your dog/puppy from picking up bad behaviors. For new dog (and especially puppy) owners, it is recommended that you attend basic obedience or puppy training classes. Most frustrations new puppy owners experience stem from a lack of communication. Meaning your dog or puppy doesn't know what you are asking or expecting, and you don't know why he or she isn't getting what you are trying to teach them. Basic obedience/puppy classes can help you understand how to communicate correctly with your dog. Remember to be patient, and don't be afraid to ask for help. Early training will help you mold your dog or puppy to being the companion you were searching for. Be consistent, and you will see results.
